Uwe Schade
cello player + actor
born 1960
studied cello with Tadao Kataoka + Gudrun Bachmann + Karl-Hermann Jellinek. He has been working as a self-employed musician and composer in Hamburg since 1986. Besides playing several solo and chamber concerts (e.g. Master Wolf and the Lion, founded 1985) he plays and composes for dance productions (Cornelia Ölund + Victoria Hauke) as well as theatre productions (comprising Stadttheater Hildesheim + Hamburger Kammerspiele + Deutsches Museum Berlin (production: Schamzerstört) + Theaterwerkstatt Hannover (production: Orgia) + Theaterwerkstatt Pilkentafel (production: Die Verwandlung) + Nationaltheater Mannheim (productions: Aprikosenzeit + Romantica + Kabale und Liebe). In 1995 he co-founded the narrative drama group Theater Brekkekekex (productions (excerpt): Schneekönigin + Zwerg Nase (play of the month in autumn 2001) + Der Sandmann). In summer 2004, the first co-productions with Theaterwerkstatt Pilkentafel took place (Die Verwandlung by Franz Kafka + Ihr liebt das Leben, wir lieben den Tod). Since 1996 Uwe Schade is working at Theater Triebwerk as musician + composer + actor.
 
 
Heino Sellhorn
bass player + actor
born 1962
studies of Cultural Science, Aesthetics and Applied Arts at the University of Hildesheim from 1985-89 with focus on music and literature. Since 1990 he has been working as a freelance theatre musician, composer and actor (Theaterspielplatz Braunschweig + Deutsches Theater Göttingen + Theaterwerkstatt Hannover + Theater Mahagoni Hildesheim + Boxen-Team Hildesheim + Das Zelttheater Visselhövede + Hebebühne Hannover + Schauspielhaus Hannover). In 1994, he co-founded the film score band “Die Paramounts” and played shows on many film festivals (Berlinale + Filmfestspiele in Potsdam + Hamburg + Düsseldorf + Emden) and on several tours in clubs throughout Germany. He lives in Hanover and has been working at Theater Triebwerk since 1999.
 
 
Holger Duwe
                                                  set designer + technician
born 1965
works for Theater Triebwerk as light and set designer, prepares all the technical aspects regarding upcoming tours and joins the crew as light and stage manager (three times to India and four times to North America so far). He has been working for theatre since 1988, he was lighting technician at Scala in Hamburg, assistant director + light and set designer under Gerd Kaminsky at the Ensemble Penthesilea at the Salzburg Festival (productions: Lorca + Iphigenie auf Tauris), light and set designer for Arthur Rimbaud’s “Das trunkene Schiff” (directed by Thomas Ott / Manfred Andrae) for performances in Salzburg + Berlin + Hamburg. He is event venue coordinator of the Sommerfestival Salzburg, light designer at “Antigone” (at Alte Post Hamburg, directed by Silke Schulze-Gattermann), light designer at the opening of the “Schümann House” of the Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe/Hamburg, light designer for several film productions as well as fashion shows. He is responsible for set construction and special effects at Musikfilmproduktionen BSW Hamburg and is holding seminars about light design since 2002. Since 1995 he is head of the managing-committee in all things technical at Kampnagel Hamburg.
